I agree with you but my original comment on your friend's blog was mean to be biased. By control I mean if by the end of the hour you don't like the characters and couples set, it's not working. I agree they're inconsistent but there's also a method there, people keep saying they're tanking but the show's been renewed and they still do have 6 million viewers. S1 was a good but it's gone off the rails. This probably has to do with the fact that this is all the writers ever did plan out.
6 million is a series low, and not impressive when you consider even last season’s numbers and compare with other shows on other networks. They got beat by shows like Walking Dead, which is on AMC, an obscure channel, and are likely to lose a lot more viewers after THAT winter finale. The show actually hasn’t officially been renewed yet, and since the kibosh was put on the spin-off and tour, you can bet Fox may be leaning away from this method you say they have. I myself think it’ll be renewed, but after this last episode they are going to have a serious issue with viewers who don’t want pointless moments of serious drama or the Finchel show, as can be seen by the plummeting ratings since the focus of the show shifted so drastically. It may be renewed, but the possibility of it not actually making it through a 4th season are much higher now.
Your original comment is likely what set us both off—if you’re so biased by your own ships, why are you coming into other people’s asks when you know they won’t agree with your ship opinions? What’s the point?
